Hello! My name is Natalie.

I studied Sports Therapy at Staffordshire University and graduated with a 1st class degree in 2015. Since then I have worked within gym settings, spent 2 seasons as a therapist in non-league football, taken part in several charity events both here and over seas, as well as heading back to where it all started by lecturing and working with Sports Therapy students at Staffs. In 2019 I then completed my Level 3 Personal Training qualification, and most recently in 2023 set up my own 100% private studio base where I carry out all services offered by Sports Therapy Stafford.

I like to get to know everybody who walks through my door, I like to understand what makes you happy, what you like to do on a daily basis and how I can help you do those things without any physical restrictions. I am not just here to reel off lots of long fancy words, take your money and send you on your way. We will talk about your hobbies, past and present, your work, family and social life. Together we will explore what has caused your injury/pain, or your reasons for wanting to make a change and why now is the right time for you. This holistic approach means we can create an individualised treatment/exercise plan that you are happy with, to maximise your chances of success.

P E R S O N A L T R A I N I N G

Personal Training first and foremost should be exactly that - Personal.

 

Before your first session we will sit and discuss in a FREE 30-90 minute consultation, where you are now and where you want your sessions to get you, what kind of exercise and movement you enjoy, and probably more importantly which you absolutely detest (burpees anybody?!). From there we can put together a completely individualized plan to follow to get you exactly where you want to be. 

 

Our plans extend further than in person sessions. We will take the time to discuss all sorts of personal goals, be it physical, health or lifestyle related, equipping you with resources to keep you on-track and accountable, giving you the absolute best chance of success. 
 

Sessions are held in a 100% private studio setting so there is no need to worry if you find yourself feeling anxious around exercise for any reason, as it will just be yourself and your new number one cheerleader!

SPORTS  MASSAGE
40-60 MINUTES

In this 40-60 minute session we are able to provide deep tissue massage to the main muscle groups of the whole body as well as being able to spend some time focusing on problem areas which you may have identified or which have been found during the session. You will leave the session feeling relaxed, with reduced pain, increased mobility and a heightened sense of well-being.

INJURY ASSESSMENT
40 MINUTES

As well as sports massage and acupuncture, I also provide injury assessments and rehabilitative treatment. If you feel as though you are suffering from an issue that massage will not solve please follow this link to take you to the Sports Therapy page where you will find more information.

DRY NEEDLING

As with all other treatments, Medical Acupuncture sessions are tailored to each individuals needs. The insertion of needles increases blood flow to the area and works to reduce pain. Read more about Medical Acupuncture here.

PERSONAL TRAINING

Completely individualised personal training sessions to suit you and your goals whatever they may be.
